Sprinter ticks all the boxes for multi-drop delivery specialist
When your vans wear the livery of one of the UK’s leading time critical services carriers and cover up to 90,000 miles a year, you need to know they can be relied upon to last the pace. For Cranleigh-based Interlink Express franchisee Logistics4U, only one vehicle is man enough for the job.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans form the backbone of the company’s 80-strong, Interlink-branded fleet– last year alone it purchased more than 40 fuel-efficient 313 CDIs from Rossetts Commercials.
Managing Director Tony Flood formed his business in 2009, but he has worked in the industry a lot longer and his links with the Dealer go back 20 years. Logistics4U’s first Interlink franchise was for Guildford; it has since been awarded those for Portsmouth, Basingstoke and the Isle of Wight.
“We work our vans very hard,” says Mr Flood. “It’s all multi-drop work so reliability is key. The engine and drivetrain are critical, of course, but so, too, are components like hinges and handles – we had some French vans a while back and before long things began to fall off.”
He continues: “I’ve known Rossetts’ Dealer Principal Perrry Reeves for many years, and his team always deliver on their promises; they provide an excellent service.”
